The friendly and highly experienced staff certainly do keep all the boys and girls going to the gym though. I started with a 12 week package, and am still regularly attending months later.
The lovely beefcake that is Alex Smith ensures I “work it” to the max each session, lifting weights I never thought possible, and ensuring much fun is also being had. Having a sound knowledge in nutrition already, I find my assessment sessions with the incredibly supportive and inspirational Sarah Lindsay (that bod…!) a great way of being accountable and implementing new dietary approaches. Sarah’s pep talks have given me the confidence to challenge myself beyond what I ever thought was possible. I’ve basically been on to a winner from the start. It is extremely rewarding to know you’ve been challenged like this during each session and watch your body transform week on week. The 1:1 set up and variety of equipment ensures a range of techniques are used to produce a bespoke plan to meet my personal goals and abilities.
My ROAR experience has been the best thing I’ve ever done in my fitness journey so far. FACT. I went to ROAR for structure, accountability and support, I got that and a whole lot more.
