“I had worked with Sarah and Rich in 2012 and they managed to get me into amazing shape. However in early 2013 my husband and I found out we were expecting our second baby and a complicated pregnancy meant that exercise had to go completely on hold.

Our son was born in August 2013 and proved to be a terrible sleeper for the first 9 months of his life. I was so tired I could hardly function and relied on full fat Coke and sugary or carb loaded foods to get me through the day. By mid-2014 I had put on 3 stone from the weight I had reached when I had to stop training after getting pregnant, and went back to work after maternity leave unable to fit into any of the nice clothes I had bought for myself when I finished working with Rich and Sarah. Busy with a demanding job, and getting used to balancing that with looking after 2 small children and a home, I dealt with all the stress by comfort eating rubbish and wound down at the end of a day with a nice large glass of wine and a heavy calorific supper. By summer 2015 my health was starting to suffer as my blood pressure started climbing and I had had enough. I managed to lose a stone by myself but still wasn’t eating optimally and just didn’t know where to start again with exercising. I decided to get back in touch with Sarah as I felt she and Rich were the only people I could trust to help me. I knew it would be no easy task to lose all the weight and regain my health and figure, and wasn’t at all confident I could get back to where I’d been especially after a second baby, but knew that my best chance lay with these guys.

I was horrified to discover on my first set of measurements that my body fat had risen to a shocking 30%. I set myself a target of 5 months to lose the weight and started off by doing 3 sessions of training a week and sticking to an easy to follow but tasty and satisfying nutrition plan, with some supplements thrown in too. After the first 3 weeks I had lost 8% body fat and felt really motivated to carry on. Although the training was physically challenging (hip thrusts anyone?) it was always enjoyable and I felt in incredibly safe and knowledgeable hands. Sarah was enormously encouraging throughout and even when I doubted I could get to where I wanted to go, she never doubted it for a second. All I had to do was stick to the nutrition plan and keep giving it 100% in the training. There were some hard points during the diet, especially at the end, and my love for sweet things hasn’t gone away but I enjoy the food I eat and don’t feel hungry. I couldn’t believe the final result, and was able to wear all my lovely ‘slim’ clothes once more.

I have had to have an enforced few months break from training after an operation but have managed to keep most of the weight off and am still in my ‘slim’ clothes. I can’t wait to get started with training again and seeing how much further I can go.

I would recommend Rich and Sarah to anyone anytime – they are absolutely amazing trainers who will give it everything to get you to where you want to go, all you have to do is eat and drink what they tell you to and work hard with your training. With their help I managed to do – so anyone else can too.”
