I thought it was safe to assume a trainer that looked the part must have the answers but this continued to prove untrue. The team at Roar are incredible! The personal training was intense but I always left feeling like I had taken one step closer to my goal. Extremely professional, ultra serious but still a warm and friendly group of people which helps create a great atmosphere throughout the gym spurring everybody on that trains here.
I initially signed up to personal training to get as lean and fit as possible. I went from 107kg to 89kg and dropped over 10% body fat in 8 weeks. I was ecstatic with my results but felt as my body was still constantly changing I wanted to see how far I could take it. Rich suggested throwing me into 10 weeks on their muscle and physique personal training programme. Nutrition, supplements and training were all adapted to focus on the new goal of adding size and strength whilst still maintaining my body fat.
10 weeks later I weighed in at 101kg and even leaner. I was deadlifting 200kg, incline pressing 55kg dumb bells and bicep curling the 32.5kg all for 5 reps. Rich set some lofty goals at the start and said if we achieve these there is no way my body won’t grow. He certainly wasn’t wrong!
