Where the Roar Performance Philosophy Began

Sarah Lindsay began speed skating at a young age and quickly established herself as one of the most promising athletes in the British system. Progressing through the national pathway, she specialised in short track speed skating-a discipline that demands not only physical power and technical precision, but also sharp tactical awareness and composure in chaotic race environments.

From early on, she stood out for her race intelligence, explosive speed, and consistency under pressure. These qualities translated into dominance on the domestic circuit, where she became a multiple-time British Champion, earning selection to represent Great Britain at international level. Her rapid progression was the result of a highly structured training environment, relentless repetition of technical elements, and a performance mindset focused on marginal gains-hallmarks that would later define her coaching philosophy.

Sarah went on to represent Team GB at three consecutive Winter Olympic Games, a rare achievement in a sport where the physical and psychological demands make longevity at the top extremely challenging.
