I met Sarah when I was at my porkiest. Whilst I’ve always been sporty and a gym-goer, my nickname at work was “Babe”- not after some glamorous blonde, rather the Hollywood movie pig. I was beasting myself in the gym, but getting fatter.
Sarah changed all that. By going through my diet step by step, she completely changed the way I ate. Happily, I was still able to eat LOADS, and of things I actually enjoy. Getting me to stay on track, however, is another matter; left to my own devices, I am liable to go badly off-piste and monster the nearest buffet or pick n’ mix stand with gusto. Luckily Sarah was
endlessly encouraging, also patiently answered all my annoying questions Sarah has completely revolutionised my gym programme and got me lifting weights that I never, ever thought I’d be able to do and would never, ever have attempted on my own.

Seeing my pot belly disappear, and the emergence of definition in my shoulders, has been brilliant. By the end of 10 weeks, I’d shed my body fat and a stone of weight, and for the first time ever have started getting compliments about my arms when I go out. Until I met Sarah, I had no idea just how much a brilliant personal trainer matters, and what a difference they can make. Although I initially signed up for a 10 week plan, I’m now hooked – poor Sarah, and Roar, are stuck with me for life.
